One of the unique and new features of the Aldrich Coal Mine Museum is the Simulated Coal Mine. Shown here are the author's son Jeff, a mannequin representing a convict miner, and Mr. Henry Emfinger, proprietor of the museum.
A special part of the museum is dedicated to the story of the prison miners, the prison mine system, and local African American heritage. |
