A Coal Mining Town

J. D. Week's postcard is worth seeing at larger size.  This view is looking to the southeast.

It is believed that this trestle spanned a ravine to the tipple as noted in the title.  Bibb County Road 10 is now located where the man is standing, next to the small red building.  The road would run left to right in the picture.
