This is a view of the mine entrance at No. 2, located west of the mine plant, so this image is looking generally west.

Note the cable in the lower right corner -- this is connected to the hoist house, some distance away. The cable goes through the tipple, and on pulleys mounted on elevated supports over to the hoist house.
