Fairfield Works -- TCI Division of US Steel
The Fairfield Works was an expansion of the Ensley Works of TCI starting about 1909. The Library of Congress provides an excellent resource on this facility from the HABS-HAER inventory of industrial sites.
This map shows the extent of the Fairfield Works in 1978. In addition there is a set of 10 black and white aerial photos (low oblique view) that show the site in 1993, downloaded from the LOC web site.
