Another O.V. Hunt picture, from Ted McCormack's collection. This building was located in a line with the "old" post office to the right, and the commissary to the right of that. Note the rail line behind the building, and the hopper cars -- some steel and some wood. This line is the local line that served Newcastle, not the L&N mainline. It was east of the mainline, and ran generally parallel.
