Republic's Raimund Mines

At the top of the steps northeast of the tipple structure, is this large concrete tank, like a swimming pool.  There is a small structure at the southeast end, behind the camera that might have been a pump house.

It is not known what this structure is used for -- it appears that it could have served as a reservoir, a holding tank, or some other water related use.

Could this have been some sort of a concentration or settling structure related to ore processing?
