Understanding the Changes over the Years

The more one studies Newcastle, the more things seem to have "moved around" over the years.  Apparently this is literally true.  The following slides show the author's opinions  of what has changed based on study.  The big changes seem to be:

  •     About 1914 the L&N RR relocated the main line track passing through Newcastle
  •     About 1925, Jefferson County relocated the road that passes through Newcastle.
